Design of Kia Sedona
The 2016 Kia Sedona is really all about its design! This minivan was named the Best New Car Design at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The 2016 Sedona was built using Kia's Iso-Structure lightweight design. The Sedona's frame is made up of 76 percent advanced high-strength steel or press hardened steel. The Sedona's roof pillars work with very high strength steel tubes inside A-pillars to make it so high-impact loads' weights are distributed quite evenly. Designers used large diameter welds and many bonding adhesives to make for a great structure. Once you are ready to get inside, you will step 6.7 inches off the ground to do it. The Sedona offers room for either seven or eight people. However, it offers the space to put down the seats through Slide-N-Stow if you are looking for some extra storage space. If you have an L or LX trim, you will have tricot cloth seat material to replace the previous knit pattern. The EX trim now has standard and heated front seats. The seats are known as "First-Class Lounge" ones. A cooling glove box is available to use to keep things cool, like your soft drinks or food items needing refrigeration. The SXL trim makes available some side sills with chrome accents, and standard 19-inch chrome wheels. Passengers in the back can expect up to 40.6 inches of legroom. In case you are curious, the Sedona's maximum cargo capacity is 142 cubic feet. There is a Smart Power Liftgate on the Sedona. The minivan has a gross weight of 6085 pounds.
